As the Social Media Associate, you'll be the voice and visual storyteller behind AXP House online. You'll create engaging posts, cover in-house events, grow our following, and ensure that everything we share reflects the energy and style of the AXP brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Strategy:
Develop, plan, and schedule social media content (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) that aligns with our brand voice and goals.
Create original content, including photo, video, Reels, and stories that showcase the café, events, collaborations, and community.
Stay ahead of trends and creatively incorporate them into our content strategy.
Community Engagement:
Respond to DMs, comments, and mentions to maintain strong audience interaction.
Engage with our local community, collaborators, and influencers online.
Build buzz for upcoming events, partnerships, and pop-ups.
Analytics & Growth:
Monitor social performance using insights and tools to optimize reach, engagement, and follower growth.
Regularly report on content performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Events and Partnerships teams to create timely, relevant campaigns.
Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and creatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing (bonus if in hospitality, lifestyle, or culture) is an asset.
Strong visual and editorial sense, you know what looks and sounds good online.
Proficient in tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, or similar.
Familiar with Toronto’s creative scenes is a major plus.
Confident behind the camera and/or in managing creators and collaborators.
Organized, responsive, and excited to help shape a growing brand.
